Interactive Invoice List

Select from the main menu to get to this screen.

Purpose
The purpose of this screen is to provide a list of invoices that are still open. (You can display paid in full invoices, also.) There are two types of invoices: load invoices and general invoices. Both are available on this screen.

How to Use
Each type of invoice has its own tab (subpage). The contents of load invoices is controlled on each respective load screen. The content of general invoices is controlled from this screen.

Load Invoices
Select what type of invoices you wish to see: not paid, paid, or both. Then select the trucks that you wish to include. Finally, click the Get the Invoice Data button. Whenever you change the criteria to display, you must click the Get the Invoice Data button.

The grid will initially display in truck, load order. You may change the order by clicking on the column heading of the column you want sorted. There is a search field above the grid that will search in the column currently being sorted.

Double click on any line to go directly to that load's Load Charges information (on the edit load screen). When you exit the load, the invoice data screen will be refreshed.

Note: If you go directly to the income and expenses screen and post payments or reimbursements against a load in the grid, you will need to click the Get the Invoice Data button to refresh the numbers. 

Whatever data is on the screen may be printed using the reporting buttons at the top of the screen. This will run the Load Receivables Report. will view the report, will print the report, and will email the report.
 
General Invoices
A general invoice can invoice anything you want. You may make it truck-specific if desired. Invoice numbers are automatically generated by the program. (You may start at a specific number and will be asked for this number when you add your first invoice.)

Select what type of invoices you wish to see: not paid, paid, or both. Then select the trucks that you wish to include. Finally, click the Get the Invoice Data button. Whenever you change the criteria to display, you must click the Get the Invoice Data button.

The grid will initially display in invoice number order. You may change the order by clicking on the column heading of the column you want sorted. There is a search field above the grid that will search in the column currently being sorted.

Double click on any line to go directly to that invoice's information. When you exit the invoice, the invoice data grid will be refreshed.

Whatever data is on the screen may be printed using the reporting buttons at the top of the screen. This will run the Invoice Receivables Report. will view the report, will print the report, and will email the report. If desired, you may limit this report to the customer that is currently selected in the grid.

Add a new invoice using the button. When you create your first invoice, the program will ask you what invoice number you wish to start with. Invoices will be numbered from there. You will be taken to the General Invoice Edit Screen.

To edit an invoice in the grid, double click on it or single click on it and then click the button. You will be taken to the General Invoice Edit Screen.

To delete an invoice, click on it in the grid and then click the button. (Any payments made to this invoice will not be deleted. If you want the payment(s) deleted, then you will need go to the Income and Expenses screen.
